HOMELESS SERVICES

Help for homeless children and youth

The Santa Paula High School District has resources and a commitment to help the homeless children and youth in our community! We need to know who our homeless children and youth are, so we can assess their needs and make sure they get the appropriate help.

How to identify: Under the McKinney Vento Homeless Act, the definition of "homeless" may include any of the following:

Staying temporarily with relatives or friends
Staying at campgrounds or in their car due to lack of alternative adequate accommodations
Living in motels
Living with another family temporarily
Moved several times in a year
Living in emergency or transitional shelters
