SPHS Announcements

  • Homecoming


    Monday, October 24th – Friday, October 28th – Dress Up Days and Lunch Time Rallies! 

    • Thursday – Girl Band/Boy Band Day (get with your crew and form a band, or dress up as a former or existing band – i.e. Spice Girls, In Sync, etc.)
    • Friday – Dress as your class theme (Freshmen – Elvis, Sophomores – Madonna, Juniors – Prince, Seniors – Michael Jackson).


    Friday, October 28th – All School Rally in McMahan from 12:04-12:43pm, Parade on Main Street at 3:45pm, Halftime Show at the football game at approximately 8:30pm.

    • Rally
      • Classes will compete during the rally and perform their HC theme performance. Judges will score them.
    • Parade
      • Parade participants will line up on 5th The parade route will lead to Main Street where the classes will perform, royalty will be introduced and judging will take place.
      • This year’s parade Grand Marshal is Mr. Cecil Preciado, graduate of the Class of 1948 and long-time SPHS supporter/candid photographer, member of the Santa Paula Education Foundation and Santa Paula Alumni Association, and active community member. The kids chose him based on his dedication to student athletics and activities through his photography at past events.
    • Halftime
      • At approximately 8:30pm, the classes will perform at the halftime show, and royalty winners will be announced/crowned. The class that wins Homecoming will also be announced. Their scores from the lunch time rallies, all-school rally, and parade performance will be added up to determine the HC winner.


    Saturday, October 29th – Homecoming Dance in the McMahan Gym.

    • The Homecoming dance will take place in the McMahan Gym and we expect about 450 students to attend. It is the largest dance of the year. Dance begins at 7:30pm and will go until 11:00pm.

  •  Parking Advisory

    For parking information based on events at SPHS, please refer to event calendar on main page.

    Please be advised that street signs have now been posted on Palm Court. Staff and visitors are restricted from parking in all areas on Palm Court except for: 

    • Parking along the side of the swimming pool
    • Parking along the side of the ticket plaza

    All other areas are restricted and those vehicles parked without a permit will be issued a citation at owners expense. Parking at 41 & 42 Palm Court has been for now reserved for Cal-staff and their visitors such as parents/grandparents who need to pick up the children from day care.
